Across the country we are being battered by severe storms - tornadoes in Oklahoma, flash floods everywhere, and violent thunderstorms down South. Today's picture is of devastation from Super Storm Sandy. There were 3 houses in a row that had previously been destroyed the year before by Tropical Storm Irene but, they were all rebuilt only to be destroyed one year later by Sandy. There was one glaring exception to Sandy's strength and that was the Modular Home shown in the picture. This Modular Home is in Connecticut on The Long Island Sound where the homes were pounded by the hurricane. Only the modular withstood the brunt of the storm. The neighbors' homes were stick built by excellent builders but, literally fell down. The storm huffed and puffed and all the stick built homes fell down, only the modular remained. Fortunately no one was hurt unlike two of the Three Little Pigs. Call us today if you would like a well built home.
