Just last weekend it we had a record-breaking heat wave, it got to 101 degrees here in Northern Vermont. Egad that was super-hot!
We are rapidly coming up on August of 2019 when the days start to get a bit shorter, evenings slightly less warm, and sitting outside around the fire-pit is wonderful. When I was a kid we’d build a bond-fire down by the lake and roast marshmallows.
When summer draws to a close we seriously start thinking about winter, howling wind, driving snow, and frigid cold. Doesn’t that sound just delightful? Well no!! Not really. However, it is nice to be all snuggled up in a comfortable home. And if you want to be in your new home this winter it is time to start thinking and planning.
How about a Ski House where you and your family escape from the stress of every day life. You know you’d to have your own private place to enjoy The Slopes. Vacation homes are the perfect spot to build a lifetime of memories and wonderful stories of family and loved ones.
Or, how about a vacation get away next to the water where the recreational wonders of The Lake are at your fingertips. You too can go down by the lake, start a fire, roast marshmallows, and build your own book of memories.
Of course, you can plan for your own Camp deep in the woods. Camp, or hunting camp, or family retreat in the woods is an ingrained tradition throughout Vermont and families have enjoyed Camp for generations. Isn’t it about time you had your own?
Don’t forget a fabulous cabin in the woods up in the mountains. There would be Skiing and Snow Shoeing in the winter, hiking in the summer, many hours enjoying the wonder that only the mountains can hold. You know The Kids would love to go sledding as often as possible!
See all the possibilities! So, whether you are next to Lake Champlain in Grand Isle, near Island Pond in Brighton we can build your Vacation home for you. And if you want to build in southern Vermont’s Lake Region, say near Lake St. Catharine it is all still very possible.
Give us a call at (802) 985-5855 we would love to hear from you and start the conversation about your special place here in our Green Mountain State.
