Yesterday was the first day of spring for 2019 and many of us are anxiously awaiting the arrival of flowers, birds, and warm sunshine.
But, have you heard the weather report for tomorrow? According to the National Weather Service here in Burlington, Vermont there’s a Winter Weather Advisory in effect for tomorrow on into Saturday.
It is still a great time to be building home inside in a controlled environment where all those expensive building products are protected from the harsh weather about to descent upon us.
Earlier this afternoon we were talking with folks from California, they know all of us will get a workout shoveling snow and build up our muscles. That may be true, but we are ready for spring.
We have shown photographs of homes under construction during the winter where the interior of the home is snow covered or materials are all neatly piled up and then covered with snow. Do you honestly think that is the best way to build your new home?
Here at Vermont Modular we believe winter is for skiing and snowboarding but not building outside. This winter we have delivered several homes, one here in Chittenden County and another in Windham county. All of our winter homes are built indoors away from the harsh conditions that mother nature throws at us.
This spring we are continuing our indoor building projects away from tomorrow’s snow storm and the upcoming MUD season.
It is a great time to be thinking of your new home. Wouldn’t you rather have a modular?
