Take a look at today’s photograph of a front porch roof on a brand new modular home up in Lamoille County Vermont.
What you are looking at is a panelized porch roof that has a panelized Reverse Gable dormer above.
It is difficult to see in the photograph, but these two roofs have two completely different roof pitches, two hip type corners, and virtually no room for error. All of these pieces must fit together nicely and present a professionally built porch roof that because of all the angles, pitches, and corners is extremely difficult to cut accurately, build, and piece together.
Take a long look at this project and you will quickly see how complicated and intracte it is. We were thrilled how beautiful it came out.
All this was built indoors and transported to northern Vermont. Wouldn’t you rather have a modular?
