Look what's coming
This whole week the temperatures here in Vermont are slated to be in the upper 70’s and low 80’s. So, why are we showing you a picture with a ton of snow in it?
First, let’s take a look at what is in the picture. You are looking at a Poured Reinforced Concrete Foundation that had been poured in November of 2012. What had been accomplished so far:
- The basic site work had been completed, the driveway and cellar hole were dug and prepped to concrete trucks
- The concrete had been poured and obviously the foundation was built
- The foundation had been waterproofed (see the black stuff on the walls of the foundation?)
- The building site had been rough graded, and everything was ready for the house to be delivered
This home was delivered in January and completely finished in a matter of weeks.
Our point today is clear, yes you can have homes delivered in the winter. Yes, it is a lot easier if you have much of the site work completed before December.
In the past couple weeks, we have been super busy getting a lot of projects ready for completion and some of them will be seeing snow in the midst of the project.
