Currently we have yet another foundation being built up in Lamoille County of northern Vermont. The foundation was dug last week and the walls were poured yesterday (10/8/2020).
Obviously, the site work and cellar hole were dug using these two machines. We showed you a picture in a previous blog how the job site was heavily wooded and you can tell of this picture the trees were removed, a cellar hole dug, foundation footings poured, foundation walls poured, and early next week the foundation walls will be waterproofed using a Tar Solution. Then when it is all done the ground will be backfilled awaiting the delivery and setting of the Cape Cod style home.
In the next couple days, we will show you progress at this job site and of course you will be included in the delivery and set of the new home. As of today, the home will be delivered the first week of December with the new owners living in the new home in January.
See, a winter project can and often does move along nicely. It sure is a far better way to build a new home as compared to a Site-Built Stick-Built home.
