For a while now we’ve mentioned that we have a house being built in the plant; that home is now finished and ready for delivery to a really nice spot in The North Country of New York State. Yes, Vermont Modular goes all over.
A while ago it seemed as though grandma would always be doing the laundry in the basement. Down there was the washing machine and as all know families can generate a mountain of dirty clothes. By the way, how is it that infants and toddlers can get so many clothes where they need to be washed? They are so small yet generate so much. But, regardless the laundry was almost always in the basement. And there was seldom ever a dryer; that is a fairly recent invention.
It was a while back I was reading about powder rooms, I know that’s weird. A long time ago, before the 1920’s mostly, proper women never went to bars or taverns or those awful places where men gathered to drink “adult traveling beverages.”
We try to post a blog every day Monday through Friday but yesterday we were over in The Adirondacks of New York State visiting with some of our Vermont Modular Homes homeowners as a result there wasn’t time for a post. But there was time to take a picture which I’ll share with you now.
Over the next couple days, we are going to focus on some essential aspects of a home that make it a lasting home. We are thinking about those seemingly small things that make your home more comfortable.
One of the most important aspects of your new home is the entrance, that place where people approach your home.
It was only last week when we had a lot of snow, actually it came on April Fools’ Day, how clever was that! Actually, it was cruel.
We all know and are ready for summer and those precious moments by the water when we are alone with our thoughts, hopes, dreams, and aspirations. Or it is the time so share with loved ones and family as we build a life time of memories.
For those of you that want to thoroughly investigate today’s blog concept we strongly encourage you to dig deeper and find out more for yourself.
It is becoming increasingly possible that the cost of Lumber in the United States is about to take a significant jump upward, by some estimates as much as a thirty percent increase in the cost of Softwood lumber in the US.
The other day we looked at bathrooms and how important they can be along with The Kitchen in making your new home POP as something so special.
Today look down at what you are sanding on, the Floor Covering can be equally important to making your home one of those homes that stand out.
Look carefully at today’s photograph that was taken in the living room of a Vermont Modular Home. In the main living room, there’s obviously hardwood floors. The kitchen has Ceramic tile and if you look carefully the adjoining room/den off the kitchen is carpeted.
Over the past week-plus we have talked about:
Remember yesterday’s announcement that every new home from Vermont Modular now has a Hybrid Heat Pump Hot Water Heater included Free of Charge. That sounds great but, is it really a good deal?
We went online and checked to see if comparisons have been made between using a Propane Fired On-Demand hot water and the Heat Pump Hot Water Heater. Guess what; those studies have been done and we’d like to share with you the results.
